Why We Exist

There are a lot of companies that can mow a lawn, clean gutters, pressure wash a driveway, or trim a hedge.

We know that.

Bluebell Home Services was never created simply to provide another home service. It was created because I believe work has the power to serve people.

I have always enjoyed working with my hands. There is something deeply satisfying about taking on a project, seeing it through from start to finish, and leaving it better than you found it. Whether it's cleaning, repairing, restoring, or maintaining a property, I believe honest work has value because it helps people enjoy the place they call home.

But Bluebell exists because of something much bigger than that.

The Story Behind Our Name

I grew up on a small cattle farm surrounded by woods.

Every spring, those woods would come alive with thousands of bluebells covering the forest floor. It became such a familiar sight that our family jokingly called the property Bluebell Cattle Ranch.

Those flowers became a reminder that even after a long winter, beauty has a way of returning.

When it came time to name this company, there was never another name that felt right.

Bluebell reminds me of home.

It reminds me where I came from.

More importantly, it reminds me that even small things can bring hope, beauty, and new life.

That is exactly what I want this company to do.

Why Service Matters

My faith is the foundation of everything I hope Bluebell Home Services becomes.

One verse has stayed with me for years:

"You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love." — Galatians 5:13

To me, those words are not just something to read—they are something to live.

I believe God has given each of us unique abilities, and I believe He calls us to use those abilities to serve others.

For me, those abilities happen to involve hard work, problem-solving, and building things with my hands.

Bluebell Home Services is my opportunity to put those gifts to work in a way that helps people every single day.

Moments That Changed My Life

The desire to serve others wasn't born in one single moment. It grew through experiences that changed how I see the world.

During the summer after my junior year of high school, I attended church camp.

One afternoon our group was completing a team-building challenge where everyone had to climb over a tall wall. We had successfully helped everyone except one young man who was terrified of the height.

As everyone waited, I felt God placing something on my heart.

I asked the group if I could pray over him.

We gathered together, prayed that he would have courage and confidence, and when we finished, something changed.

He climbed the wall.

Watching someone overcome fear because people surrounded him with encouragement reminded me that leadership isn't about standing in front of people—it's about lifting people up.

Not long afterward, another event reinforced that lesson.

My hometown was struck by a tornado.

The day after the storm, I gathered 20 to 30 of my teammates and we spent hours going house to house helping families clean up fallen trees, debris, and damaged property. For the next several days I continued volunteering alongside a few close friends, helping people who simply couldn't do the work themselves.

Those experiences taught me something I have never forgotten.

Sometimes the greatest way to love your neighbor is simply to show up with willing hands.

Looking Beyond Today's Work

As I drive through different communities, there are moments that weigh heavily on my heart.

I see overgrown lawns.

Broken fences.

Homes that desperately need repairs.

Neighborhoods that many people drive past without a second thought.

I don't see failure.

I don't see people who don't care.

I see people carrying burdens I may never fully understand.

Some are elderly.

Some are living with disabilities.

Some are overwhelmed by financial hardship.

Others simply don't have the time, the health, or the support system needed to keep up.

I believe every person deserves to feel proud of where they live.

A freshly cut lawn cannot solve every problem.

Neither can a repaired fence or a clean yard.

But I do believe that restoring someone's home can restore a little hope.

When people see that someone cares enough to invest their time into their home, they are reminded that they have value.

Sometimes hope begins with something as simple as knowing you haven't been forgotten.

Our Vision

Bluebell Home Services is only the beginning.

My dream is that one day this business will grow into something much larger than myself.

As the company grows, I hope to establish a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring homes and neighborhoods for families who need help the most.

I envision organizing community service projects where local churches, schools, Eagle Scouts, businesses, and volunteers come together to improve neighborhoods one project at a time.

I hope people will donate their time, skills, equipment, materials, and resources—not because they have to, but because they want to be part of something that genuinely changes lives.

One day, I hope we can provide scholarships that help young men and women learn valuable trades like carpentry, roofing, electrical work, plumbing, welding, auto mechanics, landscaping, and other skilled professions.

Not everyone learns best sitting in a classroom.

Some people learn by doing.

Some simply need someone to believe in them.

I want Bluebell to become a place where people are given opportunities to build both skills and confidence while serving others.

If we can help someone build a career while they help rebuild a community, then everyone wins.

What Success Looks Like

In twenty years, I certainly hope Bluebell Home Services has grown.

I hope we have multiple crews serving families throughout our region.

I hope our nonprofit is making a meaningful difference in communities that have too often been overlooked.

I hope young people are learning valuable skills and discovering purpose through meaningful work.

But if I'm being honest, none of those things define success.

Success is hearing a customer say, "I finally found someone I can trust."

Success is seeing a homeowner smile because they feel proud of their property again.

Success is watching neighbors come together to help one another.

Success is using whatever blessings we've been given to leave this world a little better than we found it.

Our Promise

When you hire Bluebell Home Services, you're not just hiring someone to complete another job.

You're inviting someone onto your property who believes every customer deserves honesty, respect, quality workmanship, and genuine care.

We aren't interested in doing one job and disappearing.

We want to earn your trust.

We want to build relationships that last for years.

We want to become the company you confidently recommend to your family, friends, and neighbors because you know we'll treat them with the same care we showed you.

Every lawn we mow.

Every driveway we clean.

Every gutter we clear.

Every project we complete.

We want our work to reflect our character.

The Legacy We Hope to Leave

Life is short.

One belief has stayed with me through every season of my life:

God put us here for a short time, and I don't want to be the one who wastes it.

When my time is over, I don't want Bluebell Home Services to be remembered simply as a company that cleaned properties.

I hope it is remembered as a company that served people.

A company that treated customers like neighbors.

A company that gave opportunities to those who needed them.

A company that stepped into communities others had forgotten.

A company that chose relationships over transactions.

A company that demonstrated faith through action.

If our work leaves homes cleaner, neighborhoods stronger, families encouraged, and people feeling seen, then we will have accomplished something far greater than building a successful business.

That is why Bluebell Home Services exists.

To serve with excellence.

To lead with integrity.
To love our neighbors through action.
And, by God's grace, to leave every place—and every person—better than we found them.
